Following studies on vitamin K2 products in the U.S. and Germany, ingredient supplier Balchem, which specializes in the production of vitamin K2, tested several vitamin K2 products sold on online platforms in Poland and noted a need to improve the stability and purity of products in this market.

Poland was selected due to its dynamic testing landscape and high consumer expectations. The country’s supplement market is growing at a projected compound annual growth rate of 8.51% from 2025 to 2029, Balchem reported.

The company collaborated with a certified third-party laboratory to conduct assay and isometric purity tests on dietary supplements containing vitamin K2 in the form of MK-7. Without providing exact details, Balchem reported that there is a valuable opportunity for manufacturers and vitamin K2 suppliers to work together to raise quality standards and create more efficacious solutions.
